My name is Efthymia Savva, (most people call me Efi) and I am a qualified Occupational Therapist graduating from the University of Pretoria. I have a huge passion for children and take pride in the service I give to my clients.
I have private practice work experience both form South Africa and in Cyprus where I worked for two years helping children with a variety of diagnoses and difficulties. My passion for helping children has grown immensely through this blended paediatric experience.
I am eager to continue to grow my love for paediatrics. Working with children with a variety of backgrounds has inspired me to want to complete my Sensory Integration training. I am SOS feeding trained and am currently completing my Neurodevelopmental Therapy training through SANDTA, as well as DIR Floortime. I have also completed the Ergo Science Course.
I am a firm believer in, "You cannot pour from an empty cup", which is why making time for the things I love, such as family and friends, music, outdoor adventures and maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle is important to me and are just a few of the things that fill up my cup and keep me going.
"A winner is a dreamer who never gives up" -Nelson Mandela.
